Synthetic Aggregate Association is partnering with Science for Georgia to host an exciting, hands-on event focused on sustainable construction practices. We will be at a new PATH 400 location where they are making large planters and public gardens! Learn how hard-to-recycle waste materials can be transformed into concrete, helping reduce the environmental impact of construction.
We’ll demonstrate how to incorporate 44% recycled content into concrete, significantly lowering its embodied carbon, decreasing weight, and increasing insulation. Plus, you'll have the unique opportunity to mix your own concrete and create fun, eco-friendly concrete turtles, and help build a public garden!
