Volunteer

Join the CURIOUS CORPS, our army of amazing volunteers! Volunteers are needed for every event and in the weeks leading up to the Atlanta Science Festival. We will need greeters, tweeters, ushers, wayfinders, schleppers, lifters, marketers, and more. Regardless of your background, we would love for you to join our team and help make this festival a success. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old and provide their own transportation where necessary.

We will provide all volunteers with an exclusive pink CURIOUS CORPS t-shirt to keep and wear during your volunteer activities. To register a group of volunteers, complete the form and enter the name of your group. Questions? Contact [email protected].

Are you under 18?
All volunteers must be at least 16 years old (contact us to discuss volunteers under 16 years). In addition to the Registration Form below, volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Volunteer Release Form for Minors [PDF], and scan/email to [email protected].

Are you a STEM professional?
Scientists, engineers, technicians, grad students, post-docs, and everyone engaged in a STEM career is invited to visit a classroom to share their passion for science with K-12 students. See info below.

Thank you for helping to make the Atlanta Science Festival a success!

Spread the Word

After you register, help us to Spread the Word about Atlanta Science Festival to teachers, parents, youth-serving organizations, community groups, PTA groups, college faculty and students, and STEM-related businesses.

Share our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts, and convince friends, family members, and complete strangers to join the fun. Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter and stay in touch!

STEM Professionals

Are you a scientist, engineer, technician, faculty, postdoc, graduate student, or anyone whose career is strongly tied to STEM knowledge and application? Would you like to inspire young people to address the challenges of the future through STEM understanding and careers? We’d like you to visit a K-12 classroom during our Imagining the Future day on March 7, 2019 to discuss your career path, the problems you tackle, and what questions remain unanswered in your field. Professionals, including graduate students, working or researching in any STEM field are eligible. ITF registration is now open, and is separate from the regular Volunteer Registration below (if you’d like to do both, please complete both forms).
