Join the CURIOUS CORPS, our army of volunteers working to make the Atlanta Science Festival an event to remember! Volunteers are needed for every event and in the weeks leading up to the Atlanta Science Festival. We will need marketers, promoters, bloggers, ushers, greeters, tweeters, and more. Regardless of your background, we would love for you to join our team and help make this festival a success. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old and provide their own transportation where necessary (contact us to discuss volunteers under 16 years). We will provide all volunteers with an exclusive CURIOUS CORPS t-shirt to keep and wear during your volunteer activities.

Volunteer registration is closed for the 2018 Atlanta Science Festival. You can still help us spread the word about the Festival by sharing our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts, talking about your favorite events, and convincing friends, family members, and complete strangers to join the fun. Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter and stay in touch – we’ll need more help next year!

For questions, contact [email protected].

Volunteer Training

Check out the training video to orient you to the Festival and your role as a volunteer. Then, review the Curious Corps Manual for additional background and tips. Thank you for sharing your passion for science with Atlanta!

Spread the Word

Please help us to Spread the Word about Atlanta Science Festival to teachers, parents, youth-serving organizations, community groups, PTA groups, college faculty and students, and STEM-related businesses. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and share/retweet interesting local science content using #AtlSciFest.

Stem Professionals

Are you a scientist, engineer, technician, faculty, postdoc, graduate student, or anyone whose career is strongly tied to STEM knowledge and application? Would you like to inspire young people to address the challenges of the future through STEM understanding and careers? Please register for ASF’s Imagining the Future program to visit K-12 classrooms and discuss your career path, the problems you tackle, and what questions remain unanswered in your field. Professionals, including graduate students, working or researching in any STEM field are eligible. Registration is closed for March 2018 visits! Please try again next year!
