ASF Youth Ambassadors

Youth Ambassadors

We’re looking for a group of enthusiastic student leaders to become ASF Youth Ambassadors! Ambassadors will represent Atlanta Science Festival in the community, sharing information about the Festival in schools and neighborhoods across metro Atlanta.

Applicants must be in grades 6-12 and commit to volunteer 3-5 hours throughout the month of March to this role. Ideal candidates are respected in their communities, have influence among their peers, and love Atlanta Science Festival!

What Will Ambassadors Do?

We expect Ambassadors to promote Atlanta Science Festival:

  1. At school – for example: hang posters and distribute postcards, share information with STEM clubs and programs, host an ASF info table during lunch, present to your school leaders and PTA, make school announcements and send a letter home, etc.
  2. In the community – share with peers and parents at after-school clubs and activities, at your local library, in your faith community
  3. On social media – use your influence to share @AtlSciFest content and post pictures of your ambassador work using #AtlSciFest

  • Each Ambassador will receive a toolkit to assist with promotions, including posters, booklets, postcards, draft emails and letters.
  • Atlanta Science Festival swag for you: t-shirt, button, ALEX sticker, and a discount code to the Festival launch event on March 6

How to Apply

Complete the form below by January 31 to apply. We will select and notify the Ambassadors by February 7. Selected children will need their parents permission to participate.

Thank you for helping to make the Atlanta Science Festival a success!
