PDK's Aviation Day

Presented by Inspire Aviation Foundation, Pink STEM Foundation, ASPIRE Aerospace Education Inc., DeKalb-Peachtree Airport

Experience the thrill of flight at PDK’s Aviation Day! Enjoy a free, interactive, family-friendly aviation experience! Designed especially for middle and high school students, this hands-on event invites parents and caregivers to attend alongside their children, with engaging activities also available for younger siblings in Kindergarten and up. Families will explore Georgia’s second-busiest airport, visit an active control tower, step inside real aircraft, and participate in immersive STEAM experiences. From flight simulators and aircraft builds to air traffic control demonstrations, students will actively engage with aviation professionals and discover real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math. Middle and high school students will leave with a Flight Path of Careers manual, equipping them—and their families—with a clear roadmap to aviation and aerospace careers, education pathways, and next steps for future success.
Please note there are additional sessions of this event at 9:30 am, 10:40 am, and 11:50am.
