Rockin’ the Science: Build Your Own Mineral Bracelet!

Presented by Georgia State University Perimeter College - Clarkston

Join us for an interactive exploration of Earth’s natural treasures! You'll learn how minerals form, what makes each rock unique, and how geologists classify them based on physical and chemical characteristics. Using a colorful selection of genuine mineral and rock beads, you will design and assemble your own science-inspired bracelet to take home.
Along the way, educators and student volunteers will share quick demos showing mineral hardness, streak, and crystal structure, connecting Earth science to everyday materials.
Please join us for this drop in event.
