The Science of Sustainable Theatre!

Presented by Atlanta Green Theatre Alliance

Did you know that putting on a play takes an immense amount of natural resources and energy? Productions require sets, lighting, costumes, paper scripts and programs, furniture, and tons of electricity! More often than not, after shows wrap, most of these materials end up in landfills. But don't worry, the Atlanta Green Theatre Alliance is working to help ensure the sustainability of future shows!

Come meet members of the Atlanta Green Theatre Alliance and visit our Shed at South River Art Studios! This is a great way to learn about environmental sustainability best practices and resources around Atlanta that'll benefit the theatre and your life!
There will be snacks, free art & construction supplies, tabling by Atlanta-area arts & sustainability organizations, and events for all ages.

Stop by anytime during the event window for this drop-in event! If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]
