Presented by Science ATL

SOLD OUT (docent walk only - feel free to come grab a map for your own walk)
Science is all around us, often hidden in everyday places - where we live, where we play, and where we walk. On this docent-guided Discovery Walk through downtown Decatur, you will uncover some of this secret science on a family-friendly 3.5 mile route with ten intriguing science stops. Join us for this guided walk, or pick up the free Discovery Walk map from our volunteer stationed at the Decatur Square Bandstand anytime between 10-12 and take off on your own for a science adventure.

COVID Considerations

Because the program is 100% outdoors, we do not require masking, but ask participants to go out of their way to respect and care for each other. This means wearing a mask if you find yourself closer than 6 ft from another participant, staying in your own family group, and keeping appropriate distance from others. Hand sanitizer is available from the program leader if participants want it.
As with all ASF events, we ask you to take care of yourself and your community. Stay home if you feel ill, get vaccinated and mask up when in close proximity to others!
