Tag along with two geologist-educators to see the beautiful building stones and folded natural rock layers of Midtown Atlanta on a tour from Symphony Hall to Rhodes Hall. Dr. Bill Witherspoon, co-author of Roadside Geology of Georgia, teams up with highly sought guest speaker from Georgia Mineral Society (GMS), Bill Waggener, to interpret the stories that rocks tell. Along with the tour, you'll get a GMS grab bag with the admission price.

Paid parking is available in the Woodruff Arts Center garage, as well as metered street parking.
Alternative Transportation
The Red and the Gold MARTA line to Arts Center MARTA Station are a short walk from the Church.

COVID Considerations
This event is outdoors. If you are unvaccinated, we ask that you mask for the entirety of the event. Otherwise, masks are not required if you are able to maintain social distance of at least 6 feet from others not in your party. However, masks are strongly recommended when participating in sustained interaction near others.
As with all ASF events, we ask you to take care of yourself and your community. Stay home if you feel ill, get vaccinated and mask up when in close proximity to others!
