Taking Out the Trash

Walk around any creek in the city and you'll sadly find lots of trash. Explore the efforts underway in the Proctor Creek watershed to reduce the volume of trash entering the creek and help partners develop solutions to this problem. This interactive workshop will include a brief tour of a trash trap on the creek, an overview of the trash tracking data process, and hands-on activities for you to explore and share your solutions to reduce trash across the community and keep it out of the creek.

Alternative Transportation
Take Marta to the Bankhead Station (Green Line). Maddox Park is directly across Hollowell Parkway from the Station.
COVID Considerations
This event will be outdoors with room to distance, where individuals can choose to be mask free. while they are able to maintain social distance from others. If you are not able to maintain a social distance from others, we ask that you mask up.
As with all ASF events, we ask you to take care of yourself and your community. Stay home if you feel ill, get vaccinated and mask up when in close proximity to others!
