We Eat Trash: The Science Behind Worm Composting
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Ticket holders will be contacted for a refund.
What happens to that moldy package of strawberries you throw away once they're in your trash can? What about your vegetable scraps from cooking? They eventually break down or decompose. Worms love to eat food like this! Join UGA Extension as we learn about using our household food waste to feed worms that can turn our trash into rich compost for our gardens. You will take home your own worm bin to turn your trash into something useful.
Please note that this event has been moved to the South Clayton Recreation Center. Parking is plentiful and free in the on-site parking lot.
