Insects Around Us
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
From the organizers: The safety of our community is our highest priority at Georgia State University. Out of an abundance of caution regarding the current coronavirus situation, our ASF at GSU event, "Insects Around Us" is cancelled with the possibility of rescheduling. We are coordinating with Atlanta Science Festival representatives regarding the possibility of rescheduling and information will be disseminated as decisions are made and options are clear.

Do you love insects? You will after this event! Sometimes friends, sometimes foes, insects have held a tempestuous place in human history. Explore the fascinating world of insects, visiting stations where you can catch and observe insects under microscopes, explore insect life cycles, create art inspired by our insect friends, and dine on insect culinary treats (YUM).
Getting there: Georgia Perimeter College Decatur Campus is closest to the Decatur MARTA station on the blue rail line. Transfer at the station to bus 15 or transfer to bus 34 at the East Lake MARTA station, also on the blue line. The college is near the end of the line on both bus routes.
