Science of Wine

THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY.

Uncork your inner sommelier with City Winery at the Atlanta Science Festival! Winemaker James Brim will lead a private, seated wine class that’s sure to impress any wine lover. After a brief introduction to wine tasting, you’ll learn about vineyard biology and the science behind the winemaking process – all while tasting two different flights of delicious wine. The class will finish with a dessert wine followed by an interactive Q&A session. Indulge your senses with City Winery!

Getting there: MARTA bus 899 travels between the King Memorial and North Avenue train stations. You can get on the bus at these stations or at an appropriate bus stop on North Avenue, Ralph McGill Blvd., or Jackson Street in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Alternate bus routes are bus 2 and bus 102. Both stop on Ponce de Leon Avenue and require a longer walk from the bus stop to City Winery. Bus 2 travels between the North Avenue and East Lake train stations and bus 102 between North Avenue and Edgewood/Candler Park stations.
