Pitch Your Future
Interested in emerging technologies? Entrepreneurship? The future? Join members of the GA Tech and Carter Library communities in a game where you role-play an entrepreneur and pitch future technology applications. Examples include invisibility cloaks, self-repairing paint, and space-based nuclear power plants. No technical knowledge needed; you will be provided with the information you’ll need to play. You can share your thoughts on who, where, and how different technologies may be deployed, and if you think they should be.
Getting there: The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is closest to the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue and green rail lines. From the Inman Park station, the walk is a pleasant (although hilly) 20-25 minute walk. Alternatively, bus 816 travels to the Carter Library and Museum from downtown Atlanta and Lenox Square Mall. Although you can board the bus outside the Five Points station, it is a better experience to wait for the bus next to the Peachtree Center complex along Peachtree Center Avenue or use the bus stop near the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Park Place next to Woodruff Park
There is plenty of free parking available in the Carter Center/Library parking lot.
