Comic Strip Science
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The internet and social media have revolutionized the way we are able to share scientific findings. Science has even found its way into comic strips! Join us to hear scientist and artist Garfield T. Kwan share with us how his Squidtoons comics walk the line between scientific accuracy and visual appeal.
Getting there: The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is closest to the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue and green rail lines. From the Inman Park station, the walk is a pleasant (although hilly) 20-25 minute walk. Alternatively, bus 816 travels to the Carter Library and Museum from downtown Atlanta and Lenox Square Mall. Although you can board the bus outside the Five Points station, it is recommended to wait for the bus next to the Peachtree Center complex along Peachtree Center Avenue or use the bus stop near the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Park Place next to Woodruff Park
There is plenty of free parking available in the Carter Center/Library parking lot.
