2018 Festival Event:

Invention Protection

THIS EVENT HAS REACHED CAPACITY.
Are you a “maker”? Whether an inventor, artist, or entrepreneur, one of the most important parts of creating is protecting your creations! Join us for an interactive and engaging exploration of patenting inventions, copyright rights, and what it means to have a trademark. With lots of take-home goodies and games, we’ll help you learn how to protect what you create. This program is designed to satisfy the Girl Scouts IP Patch requirements and satisfy parts of the Boy Scouts Inventing Merit Badge. Paid parking is available in the building parking deck and on the street. The office is approximately one block from MARTA. The building is handicapped accessible and participants will check in with security to get to the conference center. (This is the same building that houses Empire State South.)
