2018 Festival Event:

Insects Around Us

Sometimes friends, sometimes foes, insects have held a tempestuous place in human history dating all the way back to the 7th century BC. They've been revered as symbols of rebirth, immortality and patience, but also reviled as poisonous, disease carrying pests. In this event, we'll learn about some of the surprising ways insects intersect with our lives. We'll even get to catch a critter or two, and also munch down on some buggy treats. Free parking available in Lots 1 and 5. Great field trip opportunity!
