Are you interested in the field of science and public health? Come join the CDC Office of Women’s Health and the Emory University chapter of the Association of Women in Science and learn about Disease Detectives and what it’s like to prevent diseases, and investigate and stop outbreaks. Women scientists who have worked on the Ebola outbreak and other public health threats to our health and safety will discuss their experiences. Bring your tablet or iPad to help Solve the Outbreak! The CDC Solve the Outbreak app is a fascinating peek into the work that real-life public health officials do every day to keep us safe. Get clues, analyze data, solve the case, and save lives!
