Getting There

Parking Info

There is plenty of free parking available in the Carter Center/Library parking lot.

Alternative Transportation

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is closest to the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue and green rail lines. From the Inman Park station, the walk is a pleasant (although hilly) 20-25 minute walk. Alternatively, bus 816 travels to the Carter Library and Museum from downtown Atlanta and Lenox Square Mall. Although you can board the bus outside the Five Points station, it is a better experience to wait for the bus next to the Peachtree Center complex along Peachtree Center Avenue or use the bus stop near the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Park Place next to Woodruff Park
