It's time to put your thinking caps on. You might have noticed an awesome pink astronaut floating around our social media and website. We are very excited to introduce this new mascot for the festival!

But this Atlanta Science Festival explorer really needs a name...

Help us name the new mascot and you will be entered for a chance to win four VIP tickets to the #ATLSciFest 2017 Launch with Captain Mark Kelly on Tuesday, March 14! The only contest rule is that the names should be gender-neutral. Submit your ideas here: https://goo.gl/forms/UcGHa4lrQUvN6SFn1.

ASF Launch with Captain Mark Kelly

Captain Mark Kelly will discuss when he spent more than 50 days in space and his insider perspective on the groundbreaking, year-long NASA experiment with his twin brother on how space affects the human body. Captain Kelly will speak at 7 pm, but we welcome you to come early at 5:30pm to launch some rockets with us on the lawn of Emory's Glenn Memorial Church. Also, stick around afterwards for a book signing organized by Little Shop of Stories! Captain Kelly will be signing his Mousetronaut and Astrotwins books.

The ASF Launch with Captain Mark Kelly will begin at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14 at the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church at Emory!
